오랜만에 앨범을 구매했다. 여행에서 돌아와 처음 구매한 앨범은 언니네 이발관 5집 '가장 보통의 존재.' 언니네 이발관이 오랜만에 앨범을 내서 구매해 줬지.
언니네 이발관은 얼핏 들으면 델리스파이스와 구분이 안된다. 보컬 음색도 비슷하고 음악 스타일도 흡사하다. 솔직히 지금 델리스파이스 전곡과 언니네 이발관 전곡 섞어 놓고 틀으면 어느게 누구 곡인지 혼동이 올지도...
몇년전 밤늦은 귀가길. 라디오를 들으며 한가한 도로를 달리고 있었지. 그런데 지나가는 멋진 곡. 보컬 목소리가 델리 스파이스 같아서 벅스 들어가 델리 스파이스 모든 곡 들어보고, 델리와 보컬 목소리 비슷한 언니네 이발관도 다 들어보고... 그리고 한 밴드 더 있었는데... 기억 나지 않는군. 암튼 결국 라디오에서 들었던 노래는 못 찾았지만, 덕분에 언니네 이발관 노래에 빠지게 되었지.
'가장 보통의 존재' 오랜만에 나온 앨범. 오래 기다렸던 팬들을 전혀 실망시키지 않는 앨범인 듯 하다. 무엇인지 알수 없는 것에대한 향수를 느끼게 해주는 곡들... 가을에 듣기 좋은 곡들이다.

작년 11월에 발매된 the indigo의 새앨범 "Flair"에 수록된
첫번째 곡이다. 팬카페에 올라와서 들어봤는데, 맘에 드는군.
한국에 정발되면 바로 사야겠다.
the indigo를 알게된지도 1년이 되었군. 작년 연말에 우연히
라디오에서 듣게 되었는데 처음 듣는 순간 마음에 들었다.
최근 듣고 있는 밴드중 질리지 않는 유일한 밴드이다.
멜로디가 참 편안하다고 할까나...
노트북 광고에 실렸던 음악이다.
잔잔한 멜로디가 마음에 들어서 올린다.
Kayne West의 Late Registration이란 앨범에 들어있는 곡이다.
비트와 랩이 중독성 강하게 다가온다. John의 추천으로 들어봤는데
앨범 전체가 마음에 드는군. 그 중 특히 이곡이 귓가에 맴돌아서
올린다.

Multiple Exposure이란 아티스트의 Jazzattack이란 곡이다.
Benz Mixed Tape 9에 들어있는 곡중에 마음에 들어서
올린다. 부드러운 리듬에 보컬이 잘 어우러져 있는것 같다.
'게리롱 푸리롱', 이 이야기를 처음 인터넷에서 접했을때 처음 생각났던 곡은 이곡이였다. 하지만 아쉽게도 이곡은 아니였고 스파이시 걸스의 'Two become one'이였지. 들어보니 정말 게리롱 푸리롱~~ ^^ 뭐 그래도 쉬여웠다. 그렇게 틀린 발음이라고 생각되지도 않았고.
오늘 오랜만에 the Indigo의 이곡을 들어보았다. 근데 이곡도 발음을 들으니... 게리롱이군. ㅋㅋ 뒤에 코러스들도 게리롱~~ 살며시 미소가 떠올랐다. 뭐 한국사람이나 일본사람이나... 그렇게 발음할수도 있다는 생각이 들었다. 재밌기도 하고.
좋아하는 밴드인 the indigo의 Get it on을 올려본다.
Mixed-Tape에서 처음 들을때 부터 분위기가 마음에 들었다. 계속
듣다보니 이유를 알게되었다. 좋아하는 밴드인 롤러코스터와 분위기가
비슷하기 때문이였다. 보컬의 목소리 뿐만아니라 노래하는 스타일과
톤도 흡사하게 느껴졌고, 밴드의 구성도 비슷하게 느껴졌다. 그리고
음악의 스타일도 비슷하게 느껴졌다.
좋아하는 밴드와 스타일이 흡사해서 그런지 처음부터 낯설지 않았고
듣기 좋았다. 독일 밴드여서 정보구하기가 쉽지 않지만 (검색해 보면
다 독일어로 나와있다... ㅜㅜ) 그래도 어떤 밴드인지 알아보고
싶다.
Mercedes-Benz Mixed Tape 세번째 앨범을 듣다가 보니 눈에
확 들어오는 가수 이름이 있었다. Gabriela Anders. 대학교때
무척 좋아했던 아르헨티나 출신의 가수 이다.
후배 컴퓨터에 있던 'Fire of Love'을 한번 듣고 반해서 바로 그녀의
앨범 'Wanting'을 구매했었지. 앨범 전체가 다 듣기 편했고, Gabriela의
목소리는 상당히 매력적으로 느껴졌다.
1998년에 발표한 이 앨범 이후 뚜렸한 활동이 없어서 집에서
놀고 있나보다 생각했는데, Mixed-Tape에서 신곡을 듣게 되니
무척 반가웠다. 검색해 보니 새앨범이 3개나 있더군. 정규 앨범
인지는 모르겠지만 구해서 들어봐야겠다.
Mixed-Tap에 들어있는 이곡은 'Wanting'에 수록된 곡들과는
분위기가 약간 틀리지만, 자꾸 듣다보니 리듬이 상당히 마음에
드는 곡이다.
PS: 좀더 알아보니 2003년에 나온 두장의 앨범은 스페인어로 노래를
부른 앨범이고, 2004년에 나온 'Last Tango in Rio'이란 앨범이 영어
로 노래를 부른 앨범이다. 'Last Tango in Rio'를 구해봐야겠군.
