Mercedes-Benz Mixed Tape 두번째 앨범의 첫번째 트랙이다.
Mercedes-Benz Mixed Tape은 다섯번째 앨범이 배포되었을때
알게되었는데, 듣기 좋은 곡들만 모아 놓아서 첫번째 부터 네번째
앨범까지 모두 구해서 듣고 있다.

각 앨범마다 좋은곡들이 있는데, 두번째 앨범에서는 이곡이 맘에
든다. 부담없는 리듬에 부담없는 보컬. 부담없이 반복해서 듣기
좋은곡이다.

Audiomatix란 가수에 대해서 정보를 얻을수는 없었다. 독일 가수여서
독일어로된 자료 외에는 찾을수가 없었다. 그룹인지, 밴드이지,
혼자 부르는 싱어인지... 나중에 시간내서 검색해 봐야겠다.

Mercedes-Benz Mixed Tape 다섯번째 앨범에 들어있는 곡이다.
벤츠에서 제공하는 무료 Compilation 앨범인데 잘알려지지 않은
그룹들의 좋은곡들로 구성되어 있다. (잘알려지지 않았다는건
내 추측이다. 내가 잘 모르는 밴드들로 구성됐다고 그렇게 단정하긴
좀 그렇지만...)

첫번째곡은 [re:jazz]의 Written In The Stars. 듣기 참 편하고
좋아서 올린다. [re:jazz]는 DJ Matt이란 녀석이 추진하고 있는
jazz project이다.

일요일 오후 느즈막 하게 일어나서 볼일 보고 있는데 벨이 울렸다. 화장실에서 "누구세요"를 외치니 택배라고 한다. 대충 끊고 나와서 받아보니 내가 주문한 책과 CD였다. 일요일에도 택배가 오다니~~ 기분 좋은 일요일이였다.


책은 '살아 있는 동안 꼭 해야 할 49가지'란 책이고, CD는 박정현 5집 'On & On'이였다. 운전하면서 자주 듣는 라디오 프로인 이소라의 음악도시에서 박정현의 신곡인 '달'을 들었는데 박정현의 호소력있는 목소리가 한층 더 강해진 느낌이였다. 집에와서 주문할려고 보니 2월3일 출시라고 하더군. 그래서 예약주문을 했지. 그런데 2월3일이 지나도 보내줄 기미가 보이지 않았지만 사인CD와 포스터를 보내준다고 해서 계속 기달렸다. 그리고 오늘 CD를 받았다.





CD는 사인CD가 맞는데, 포스터는 도착하지 않았다. 주문한곳에 항의메일 보냈지. 그리고 바로 MP3P에 넣고 듣기 시작했다. 아직 몇번 듣지 못했지만 전체적으로 박정현 스타일의 노래로 꽉차 있는 느낌이였다. 프로듀서는 내가 중학교때 좋아했던 015B의 정석원이 맡았고. 정석원이 프로듀서를 맡아서 그런지 곡들이 꽤 친숙하게 느껴졌다. 정석원의 스타일이 좋기는 하지만, 너무 자기 스타일만 고집하는건 아닌가 하는 생각도 조금 들었다.


앨범 케이스는 넓적한 스타일의 표준형을 벗어난 모양이다. 사실 이런거 별로 좋아하지 않는다. CD보관함에 들어가지 않으니... 이소라의 이번 앨범도 예쁘기는 하나 내수성이 약해서 벌써 망가지기 시작했고... 에휴... 그래도 박정현 이번 앨범 케이스는 사진들을 넓게 볼 수 있어서 좋다.


전체적으로 2번정도 들은정도지만 첫느낌으로 평가하자면 10점 만점에 8점 이상 주고 싶은 앨범이다.

이게 내 홈피에 올리는 마지막 노래가 될 것 같군.

공각기동대 2기의 오프닝 영상과 노래이다.
보컬은 여전히 Origa가 맡고 있다. 1기 오프닝이
공각기동대의 힘을 강렬한 비트로 표현했다면,
2기의 오프닝은 의체화와 네트워크로 이뤄진
사회의 암울함을 표현하는듯 하다. 역시 요코 칸노!!

오랜만에 들어도 참 좋은 랩니다. 가사도 죽이고, 비트도
타이트한게 짱이지. 에미넴, 이녀석은 랩의 천재인것 같다.

음악을 들을때 가사를 생각하며 듣지 않는다. 그냥 소리를 듣는다. 소리를 음미한다. 가사가 무엇을 뜻하는지 생각하지 않은채... 그러다 맘에 드는 곡이 있으면 그때서 가사집을 보면서 음악을 들어본다. 이상한 점은 맘에 드는 곡은 가사를 읽어보면 내용이 공감이 간다는 점이다. 무의식 중에서도 가사를 조금씩 받아 들이고 있었다는 것인지...

이소라 6집을 구매하였다. 얼마전 윤도현 밴드에 나와서 열창을 하는 모습에 이번 새앨범이 나왔다는걸 알았고, 그 동안 소라 아줌마의 곡들을 MP3로 즐겨왔으니, 이번 앨범은 꼭 구매하자고 생각해서 구매했다. 어제 CD를 받아서 계속 듣고 있다. 소라 아줌마의 호소력 강한 목소리에 심취해서 듣고 있는데 2곡이 유난이도 맘에 들었다. 3번 트랙과 7번 트랙. 제목을 보니 '바람이 분다'와 '쓸쓸' 이란 곡이였다. 가사를 읽어보니... 역시 공감이 가는 그런 가사들이였다. 누구나 한번쯤 느꼈을법하고 일기장에 한번쯤 적어봤을 법한 그런 내용. 그런 가사를 소라 아줌마의 목소리로 들으니 정말 좋았다.

이소라 6집. 전반적으로 분위기는 어둡다. 이소라의 앨범중 밝은 분위기의 앨범은 사실 없지. 앨범 중 한곡 정도 밝은 곡이 있을까 말까. 전에 이소라의 프로포즈란 프로에서 자기는 이별을 한번 할때 마다 앨범이 나온다고 농담조로 말했던게 생각난다. 6집 앨범에서는 그녀의 쓸쓸한 마음이 그대로 배어 나와있는것 같다. 앨범 타이틀인 눈썹달은 초승달을 말하는것 같은데... 무슨 뜻으로 눈썹달이라고 타이틀을 지었을지 궁금하다.

PS: 상용이가 보내줘서 알게된 곡이다. Eva 극장판에 들어있는 곡.
애니메이션을 보지 않은 상태에서도 마음이 드는곡이였다. 하지만
애니메이션 1부 끝장면에서 신지의 비명소리와 함께 흘러나오는
이곡을 들었을때는 더욱 더 호소감 있게 느껴졌다.
